The Importance of Family Sessions

Family portraits are so important to capture as family is one of the most important aspect within one’s life. I LOVE the uniqueness of each and every family and each of the personalities that family holds.
Here are 3 reasons why family portraits are so important:
1. To document growth of your children and as a family. Children grow up way to fast – from the moment our first child is born, to the pitter patter of little feet, to perhaps welcoming of other children and before we know it they are off to school, collage, etc. Having portraits done each year allows you to document these changes, the bonds within your family and will be a sweet reminder of life together.
2. Things happen. We may not want to admit it or even think about it, but things happen and the dynamics of your family may change and love ones may pass on. Capture these images now- as you just never know what the future will bring.
3. Reliving memories. Pictures allow us to go back in time to when the images were taken and a great way to reminisce and tell stories of the past. They are also part of our legacy. In years to come, grand children and great grand children may someday ask to see pictures of their family and of those before their time. Having these pictures brings the family together again as they look back on their lives.

Life gets busy. I get it. I have 3 kids of my own and a very busy schedule but my family is THE MOST IMPORTANT THING and images of us together is soo important. I don’t know how often I hear a potential client say… that they haven’t gotten pictures since their little one was 2 and they are now 8 years old (or something along those lines. Time and time again). Don’t hesitate and book a session today!
